When was the last time anyone won an appeal from the NCAA?  Has it ever happened?

I agree no harm done, except possibly alienating some fans who got 
their hopes up and now might feel they've been mislead. It certainly 
seemed from Mick's comments there was some chance Adam might win the 
appeal.
