With Adam and Hernol it seems now that it was very obvious they would be ineligible, but it was worth an attempt to maybe get some sympathy from the NCAA.

It was fool's gold the whole time. But maybe worth a long shot considering the circumstances. I think we got screwed on Herrera last year, but can't fault the NCAA on these two.

Oh well, worth a shot. Too bad for Hernol and Adam though. Hope they can get something positive out of the experience. At least Adam will be able to play 1 year of Div 1 ball and maybe Hernol can "practice" his way to get some pro looks in the spring.

Now that we get the whole story it seems very cut-and-dried to me. Unless there was some dispute as to whether his teammates were paid above living expenses I can't see how Mick could have had any hope with the appeal. If anything, we're lucky he still has one year of eligibility. Hope he sticks around.
