New to the forum but have been lurking in the shadows for quite some time,
John, I had to respond to this one. I too have heard those "rumors" from an
extremely credible source who is in close proximity to cincy collegiate
athletics. Believe me, if indeed they were true, the administration had no choice. I
am not defending how they handled it, but if they are indeed true, I
understand why what happened did happen.I have always been a huge Huggins fan and
still am.

I'll tell you what, I was going to read all the posts before I replied (168
of them) but decided to respond before reading any more. I am sick and tired
of hearing these bull crap (and that is what it is) 'rumors' and 'deepthroat'
stories. If just one of the seven + 'rumors' I have read via
internet/message boards were true some one would come out and divulge and explain the whole
sordid story. Not ****ONE**** credible person has ****EVER**** gave names and
sources and explained the phantom fairy tale 'reason' that Himpher and the
board handled things as bad as they did. The reasons from all the deepthroats
are the same...lol...."it wouldn't serve any purpose now"........"people
would get hurt".....blah blah blah. I know if I knew for a 'fact' one of these
bull crap stories were true I can promise you that I would spill it out to
everyone on this forum and sign my name to it.

Another reason I know for a ***FACT*** that the deepthroat stories are bull
crap is that everyone like this last poster (who is new but not
really...er..has actually been here since the early 90's ;-) ) says or acts like they have
heard the story but they are so above reproach as to not say what exactly the
story is...lol. If I knew for a ***FACT*** the Huggins did something that
was literally sooooo bad that Himpher and cronies had absolutely literally no
choice in this world whatsoever but to handle it the way they did...I can
promise you I would spill it and that there lies the catch. So would EVERYBODY
else, it is human nature. So please, enough of the cloak and dagger stories
because to people that don't drink the kool-aid it just cements further in my
mind that what was done to Huggins was nothing but a "Personal Vendetta" and
every post like this last one just hammers it more home to people with common
sense. I am now going to grab a cup of coffee to read all these other
responses. :-)
