I might believe that, they were pretty spread out... Looked like a little
less than that though. Maybe that's paid attendance.

Paper said it was just over 8,000. Not bad for the first exhibition.

Game Observations...

Cedric- Showed real leadership and is the Obvious leader of the team.

Williamson- VERY impressive, great energy and has that ability to be
in every play it seems, his energy and tenaciousness kind of reminded
me of Hicks. He had that "animalness" about him, always headed for
the ball etc.
He also has Long arms, I imagine him pulling down some rebounds too.

Warren - I'm pretty sure this is they guy... Playing point.. (still
have to get used to all the names/numbers) had some great dishes
underneath and hit a three, I was impressed with him as well.

Brandon Miller - Loved that he got a dunk... Obviously he will
probably be our next fan favorite.

Allen... Hmmm what to say about him that's positive... He knows how to
foul!
:) He had a couple nice blocks, but seems to have that tendency to
want to rebound and want to put the ball on the floor. It's a shame
he has such a great Basketball body... Someone at the game said if you
were picking at a street game and you saw Williamson and Allen next to
each other and hadn't seen them play you would pick Allen. But there
is no question who the better player was. He also seemed to be
yelling at himself a lot after his dumb plays instead of getting back
up court right away.

Style of play- it was difficult because frankly NKU wasn't playing
very well, (I know some might argue our defense did that, but really,
NKU didn't look good last night at all) that said, I am sure this is
going to be an exciting style to watch, but we know Cronin was a good
coach

Team Chemistry- It was very obvious these guys are a "team", seeing
them go wild on the bench when Miller dunked it etc. I also REALLY
liked that they team went over to the student section ( a la the
football team) and gave them all High fives etc. Very good for
helping redevelop a fan base. They seem to all have great attitudes

Uniforms- I really like them!

Court design- Nice clean an classy

Arena- they have done a lot of nice things in there... And although I
know the C Paw is our logo, it sure is beat into your head their.. A
little too much for me actually, they have it on every section number,
I was surprised that it wasn't painted in the urinals I'd seen it so
much. I understand branding... But, it's on EVERYTHING... I'm also
assuming the lower amount of concessions was due to the fact that it
was a pre season game.

Attendance- Does anyone know what the number was yet? It seemed
pretty scarce, maybe 5000? I could be way off but there were a lot of
empty seats in all section. The Rallycats only went about 4 rows deep
and didn't fill the last two row, but there was a pretty hot co ed in
white in the second row... ;)

GO BEARCATS!
