But wasn't Herrera's issue academics? Some class that didn't count towards his core credits? With the current guys I thought the problem was that they played for club teams in their home countries. Which is true of pretty much every international player. Is this why we're seeing fewer foreign players in college these days?

What I keep hearing is anywhere from 5-10 games for each of our big men, but
I also heard similar things for Abdul last season, so whaddya gonna do.

So while I believe that 90% of the blame for this and similar eligibility
situations falls on the inept NCAA, I also feel that the recent frequency
of
such situations @ UC suggests some bit of mishandling on UC's part. Is
someone not doing their homework here to make sure these kids are
eligible?
