I'll always be happy being Cincinnati.
Unfortunately, I think many "OSU fans" (actually only OSU football fans)
will start becoming OSU bball fans now also. Amazing how it's easy to pick
a team when they're winning. I can't wait to be sitting in Indy on 12/16
when we beat them!
All this aside, the "new" era begins tonight, and I am excited to have UC
football and basketball to support, regardless of how many they win.

Utah St wasn't consistently ranked in the Top 25 or higher the past 15
years, UC was. I'd rather be Illinois, but I was happy being Cincinnati.

Regardless of recruits, I don't think winning in small conferences is as
impressive as winning in big conferences. Are you more impressed by
Illinois winning all the time or Utah State? If these are equal due to
the
recruit/conference level ratio, than I am wrong.
I think people on this forum are getting the wrong idea about those of us
that disagree with things like this. We aren't saying that they should
have
kicked Huggs to the curb. We are just saying it's time to concentrate on
tonight and the future, not what our ex-coach did when he was here two
seasons ago and beyond.
I think we should all be optimistic, and focus on Cronin and what we hope
he
will do for us down the road. Also, no offseason issues was a plus.
Support Huggins, but I no longer want to dwell on why he should/should not
still be here......HE ISN'T.
