Pacers cut James White

When I read the posting yesterday on the number of UC players in the NBA, I was surprised to read that there was a chance of James White being cut. I recall having read a few days after the draft that he had signed a guaranteed contract. Further, Larry Bird sounded pretty high on White during the summer league.

I followed White's performance throughout the preseason but his performance was unimpressive. His shooting % was pretty bad.
