The sad reality is they would have been at UC for 2 years. After Bill
was declared ineligible by OHSAA and the early graduation from NCH was
worked out the same early graduation would have happened for O J Mayo.
Both O J and Bill would have been admitted as UC students at the end of
fall quarter. Their first game as Bearcats would have been the Xavier
game on Oct. 13. Can you hear the screams from the Xavier crowd? As the
NBA is adamant that Bill (and O J) will not be eligible until the 2008
draft they would both be Bearcats for 2006-07 and 2007-08.
