You just pointed out my point... In huggins first three years... Like I said
the program was set back by about 10 years (you seem to be saying 13 years)
Thank you for helping me make my point.

At this point, I really don't care how many so-called national TV games we
have. If push comes to shove, I'll go to a local drinking establishment and
have them switch one of their satellite TVs to ESPNU. Or, I'll drive down
to Cincy and go to the game in person.
In Huggins' 1st three years, UC rarely got a sniff of national TV exposure
and it certainly did not hurt their ability to win games.

Yeah, and when I went to school in Terre Haute, they called their
airport "international" because they had one flight to Canada... When
I think of National Coverage it is ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX and ESPN. That
leaves us with one national game. You might be able to stretch ESPN2
(even they carry things like world championship darts and paintball)
to national, but ESPNU? I don't think so.
Maybe when they launch the "Ocho" we'll see more games... ;-)
I hope it is temporary, but I don't see how any sober person can paint
this anyway but bad.

You are all wet on this one Don. UC will be on National TV at least
10 times during the 2006-2007 season, UC-Ohio State on CBS,
UC-Memphis on ESPN2, UC-Xavier on ESPNU plus 7 other Bearcat games
on ESPNU. Locally Channel 19 will televise 18 games, so 28 out of 30
will be on TV. Bobby is gone Don and will not be coming back, it is
time to get over it, Mick will do an excellent job. Her has nothing to
<The main reason UC isn't going to be on TV much is because of her
and to a lesser degree ESPN. Her (I'm not allowed to say her name)
destroyed the basketball program so ESPN knowing UC basketball
wasn't going to be very good put them in the same boat as South
Florida. UC and SF are the only two>
