I take the IT guy's response "a new program through the Big East" to mean
that streamed games will be available, through the Big East (read, pay them
not UC).
I haven't been able to locate any info on any possible Big East streaming
program, but it sounds to me like there will be.

John-
I emailed the good people at UC this same question and the response I
received along with my email is below. Unfortunately, given the complete
lack of national t.v. games, I think us out of towners will have to fire
up
700wlw on the internet and listen to the games. Not good times.
By all means, if you feel like ranting, go ahead. I cannot express how
disappointed I am that the UC vision experiment looks officially dead.
Never understood why ESPN would care if there was a separate stream to a
game that they did not want to pick up anyways (maybe because they fear
too
many streams will take audiance members from their games?), but I don't
know
how you fight the world wide leader.

Nathan,
Unfortunately as of right now the answer to that is no. A new program
through the Big East prevents us from streaming any of the games.
I have not been privileged to any other plans athletics may work out with
the Big East and ESPN. I recommend checking the athletics website for any
information.
