That Long was Not Guilty of the horse punching incident. I never said he was a saint. To bring it up again perpetuates the myth about it. The truth was that the police officer lied in court (he never saw Long or anyone punch the horse) and that's why there was a Not Guilty verdict.

Mick Cronin recruits like everybody else. He took 2 kids at Murray State (Trey Pearson and Adam Chiles) who were booted from Ole Miss and Kentucky for "non-athletic" reasons. Both did the same thing at Murray St and Mick booted them, too.

Mick was the UC recruiter who landed Donald Little in 1998. Mick also landed Jason Maxiell in 2001. Night and day differences between the two players.
