Kris,

You should go down and catch them at woodward high school man. It will
ease your mind, this team, in my oppinion will be top 5 of big east. I
trust mick, and seeing them play is reassuring. Williamson, Warren, and
Hall are going to be quite the players. These are 3 of the best players
weve recruited in a while. Mike Williams i am surprised didnt have more
minutes at texas, dude is already a pro. Unfortunately he wont be playing
until 07. Furthur more, i am confident this team will exceed most peoples
expectations. I can see alot of people dont really want to get too
excited
until they see results, but after seeing them play i see huge things for
them. I will go so far as to say we will be an ncaa shoe in, and will
compete with the big boys in the beast. G'town is the only team i think
with much more talent.

Bobbit and his selfishness were just too much for me to handle. There
should be a list of the most frustrating Bearcats to watch. Regardless,
hereing you say hard-working...THAT is what I want to hear. I can live
with
this team only being a few games over .500 (considering the situation) if
I
watch the games and see the players working their butt off. That at least
makes you proud of them, right? That's how I felt last year.

I remember loving watching bobbit play, he played with alot of
intensity.
I enjoyed watching him play, and im sorry you didnt. He shot close to
45%
from 3 so that is just fine with me. Muhammed i can feel your pain on,
he
pissed me off 9 out of 10 shots.

I know how it is to be frustrated when players dont contribute, but i
can see that this team will do a great job of contributing. These guys
are
some hard workin dudes, watched them in summer league .

frustrating
Bearcats I've watched on the court (I'm not counting guys like Donald
Little
who were just disappointing in general). I mean, the kid had talent,
but
he
was such a selfish player and never met a shot he didn't like. Thinking
of
his exploits on the court just puts me in a bad mood. As for the new
guys,
it's not really about expectations, it's more of a feeling thing when
watching them. Do they seem to contribute and give it their best? Do
they
make me want to applaud them or throw things at the TV? I mean, I think
Muhammed may not have improved as much as many liked, but I enjoyed
watching
him and normally felt he was at least working hard and TRYING. I can't
say
that for some other players (here's looking at you Armein).

Yah, Muhamad didnt get any better his 2nd year here, and bobbit
played
better than he was expected to his senior year. Im not sure what
everyones
expectations were of these players, but its kind of rediculous to set
standards on a player who hasnt played yet...juco is not division 1,
players have a clear slate in my oppinion until i see them.

Kris Rose wrote: I'll 2nd all of those opinions.
I dont understand how any of them were
"fine". I"m a pretty laid back fan, but Bobibit and Muhhamad
especially
made me want to throw things at them...often.

yeah on second thought Kareem Johnson was out of shape White didn't
live
up
to the hype Williams was inconsistent and Bobbit and Muhhamad were
lucky
I
never saw them out in public.

I dont understand, all those players you mentioned play just fine
in
their
first year...

Just hung up with Billy Shermin, one of the organizers of the
Deveroes
Summer League, and he informed me that in fact *Hernol Hall* will
play
in
the SL, as BearcatNews first mentioned over a week ago. Saturday
will
be
Hall's debut.

However, there is a time change for the games this weekend.
Slats will play at 2pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday, as opposed
to
what
the
listed schedules have in the program and on the website.

See ya there.
