My guess, he was told by UCONN coaches that he could start for a team that
is going to struggle for the next few years in the Big East, or he can start
on a team that has a legitimate shot at a national championship each of the
next two years. He decided to go with the "sure thing."
My thinking is that you just have to get used to this, for the time being at
least. When you are recruiting the same kids as UCONN, 'Cuse, 'Ville, etc,
you are going to lose a lot of them to those schools.

school who has two recruits for 2006 that are 6-9. I thought playing time
was a concern? He would have started for the Bearcats, now he has to fight
