Devan Downey has committed to South Carolina

UPDATE, 4:58 -- Just talked to Devan's AAU coach, Dion Bethea. Said Devan picked South Carolina today after visiting South Carolina and Ole Miss. Downey had scheduled a visit to Florida, but didn't take it.

"He wanted to get closer to home and let his family see him play," Bethea said.
