Fair point - and not the least bit surprised you were the first to bring it
up. Practically a two-horse race between you and Don..........not that I'm
calling you a horse, of course.
Anyway, if he did have something to do with the Minnesota situation, or had
knowledge of it, it would be pretty gutsy to attempt circumventing the rules
again. At a minimum, at least we have a staffer who knows what NOT to do as
well as anyone.

I'm sure someone will cite me with negativity. But the first thing thatwas
caught my eye was his stint at Minnesota (94-97). I was hoping that he
not on staff during the period when Minnesota was guilty of NCAAviolations.
Unfortunate, his tenure conicides with this period.it
He was an assistant on a staff that was cited for multiple NCAA violations
that occurred from 94-98. From the NCAA Press Release:
"The Committee on Infractions, in its public report, said the violations
found were among the most serious to come before it in 20 years. "Thethe
violations were significant, widespread and intentional. More than that,
their nature - academic fraud - undermined the bedrock foundation of a
university and the operation of its intercollegiate athletics program,"
report states."players

I guess it is possible that the head coach and the secretary and the
were making all of these arrangements without the assistant coachesknowing
anything about it, but there is common sense. And perception.
Go Cats!
