How can UC block his release to certain schools? Isn't Downey his own man
and free to go where he wishes? Unless he is being paid I wouldn't think
this would stand up in court. If I was Downey I would just run naked accross
campus, kick a puppy or take a bathroom break on Mike T.'s desk to get
kicked out and then go where I want. I thought scholarships were a mutual
agreement each year. A coach can not renew a scholarship so a player should
have the same options.
