Closer than we were in 1989 - UC was in the middle of a 3 year NCAA probation and hadn't won 20 games or made NCAA tournament in 12 years.

And much closer than we were in 1983 before the 3-25 season in 1984.

UC will struggle to win 10 games next year, but should be back above .500 in 2008 and 20 (or more) wins in 2009.
