Hicks was very hobbled.

"I can't understand why these games are taking such a heavy toll on UC
physically adn mentally."

When you don't have a bench you have to play more minutes... Hicks almost
plays the whole game every game. Ankle sprains take a LONG rest to heal,
they will bother him till he can rest in the summer

"I thought our team was very well conditioned judging from what I hear about
their practices and the focus on weights etc. early on" - AK has shortened
practices, trying to do the opposite, huggs was long criticized, rightly or
not, that his 3 hour practices made our legs weak at the end of the
season...I am in the camp that it HELPED them be better conditioned, but
this year has more to do with a short bench.

WVU doesn't... See WVU skid last few games... Also they have a "go to"
Scorer in Pittsnogle, when he has a bad game they all do. (IMHO)

Was Hicks hobbling yesterday as well? I can't understand why these games are
taking such a heavy toll on UC physically adn mentally. They are up and down
when it coems to mental readiness - like the poor play they had against USF
and Seton Hall now.

Physically, I thought our team was very well conditioned judging from what I
hear about their practices and the focus on weights etc. early on. But how
does a team like WVU which uses a 6/7 man rotation as well manage to play
without showing this kind of fatigue?
