Subject: [UC Basketball] Moore's Numbers (Year-By-Year)
"Yes, But all those numbers are percentages! Until midway through the season
this year, he never ever looked to score. He was good at laying it up
without messing it during breakaways. So his percentages say nothing."
Moore is playing 19 minutes this year. 17 games - 17 of 59 FGA and 5 of 33
on 3-pt FGA. That averages to 3.5 FGA and just under (2) 3-pt FGA in 19
minutes per game.
As a junior - 15 minutes. 24 games - 28 of 70 FGA and 9 of 30 on 3-pt FGA.
As a soph - 10 minutes. 25 games - 30 of 59 FGA and 5 of 15 on 3-pt FGA.
As a frosh - 9 minutes. 21 games - 17 of 43 FGA and 3 of 9 on 3-pt FGA.
Those 3 years together = 70 games, 75 of 172 FGA and 17 of 54 on 3-pt FGA.
That averages to 2.5 FGA per game and just under (1) 3-pt FGA per game in
about 11 minutes per game.
As I opined, he is shooting about the same as he did the rest of his UC
career. Playing more, shooting a little because of more PT this year.
All-in-all, just about the same. His FG % is down because of his back
injury.
