Funny!  He does look the part.  I think the weight training at UC has helped him.  
   
  I think he just needs to slow down.  He has SO much energy and enthusiasm for playing that he can hardly control himself.  Maybe if he relaxed some and "let the game come to him" he would be more effective.

  I really think Ron Allen has a bright future playing basketball.....IN MOVIES!  In fact, I want to be his agent and take him to every TV & movie audition that involves basketball.  I've never seen a guy look so much like a good player and be so bad.

    I don't know what caused Andy to start Allen last night other than he read some posts on here suggesting it. I guess he didn't read mine about playing your best. Allen doesn't have a clue. He has never had a decent coach or if he did he didn't listen to him. That might be the case because last night when some teammates tried to tell him something he blew them off. He seems like he wants to put out some effort but in all the wrong places. The football player may not be all that good but at least he has some ideal of what you are supposed to do. Personally I wouldn't put either in the game unless McGowan or Hicks couldn't at least walk from one end to the other or had fouled out. Don
