Much of what you say is truth to anybody that REALLY cares about
the program. Question is... is ANYONE convinced that the administration
REALLY cares about the basketball program ? I've not seen it.

I don't think that's a good idea (the 2 year part) because recruiting is going to be a huge issue. If Huggs can't recruit with only 2 years left - how is an extended interim coach going to do it?

If they hire Kennedy they should do it now and make it at least 4 years. No one has any problems with him (aside from Huggs relations), the kids like him, and he obviously delivers.

The timing is right to announce a 4 year deal (really - is 4 yrs around $1mil a season a bad deal for either party?). That gives us a chance at recruiting a few decent players and may gel this team even further.

If they wait until April to make a decision we lose a lot. Of course, timing isn't a strong point of this administration. If they're going to do it - do it now and do it all the way - do it right.
