I was thrilled with the way the Bearcats played.  They are a lot of fun
to watch.  They play very hard the entire game now.  I should think the
next home game, Sat. Jan 14 vs. Syracuse, should draw a large crowd.

I'm not concerned about last night's, not so great attendance.  It was
only Depaul, plus it was a Wed. night and the NCAA Football championship
game was on.

If UC goes 8-8 the rest of the way, which they should easily do, they
will end up at 20-10 with likely a solid RPI.  That would probably earn
them about a 8-9 seed in the NCAA tourney.  So I don't think anyone
needs to worry about UC making the NCAA tourney.

Hopefully all this good press will help with recruiting this spring
whomever the new head coach is.

Like McGowan said in the post game interview, we drew 'first blood'
under the boards today. Eric and McGowan seem to have read the report
cards here and decided to clean things up!

most importantly, we've drawn first blood in the BIG EAST.

Anyone there? Come on, flood the forum now!
Seeing how silent its been, I suddenly have second thoughts whether
what I saw was just some fantasy.
