I am really happy for AK, he has done an incredible job. I hope this
bodes well for him for landing a head coaching job. I know that the
players are "Bob's" and we don't know how successful he will be
recruiting players to play for Andy rather than Bob, but he has done a
fantastic job in a very difficult situation.

I remember folks lamenting him going away from the 3-hour Huggs-style
practices as a negative. I always though it was a potential positive.
One of the biggest mistakes Andy could have made was to try to be
Huggs Jr. Instead, it appears he has taken his experience and put his
thumb print on this team. People have different styles and strengths,
and trying to be just like someone else is typically a recipe for
disaster.

Coaching: A+
Andy Kennedy has done a fantastic job in very adverse conditions. He has
done a great job of maximizing this teams' strengths (perimeter play and
good shooting) while minimizing the weaknesses (post play). He has done
this with one less assistant than most teams and only nine scholarship
players. Please refrain from "but if Huggins was coaching, we would be
undefeated" replies. I seriously doubt that Huggins could have done much
better than 11 - 2 with the current staff and players.
