it IS kinda funny that certain teams (OSU, Ky, ...) would not play UC when we
had a decent team... now that it looks like we about to take a step back into
the "Tony Yates Era", they return to the schedule... great.. just great.

would be picked to finish in the middle of the newly configured C-USA. The
only chance we have is for a confluence of miracles - we wind up with
something approaching a reasonable recruiting class for next year, and OSU

With the exception of the decade of the '80's UC would have been delighted
to play and probably favored to win a basketball game with the Buckeyes any
time during the last 43 years. Now, with a depleted roster and no permanent
coach they offer and we agree to play. I don't believe in the conspiracy
theories that Mrs. Zimpher is pumping her almamammy's athletics at the cost
of UC's, but it's damn strange that this is when they agree to play.
