For the record, I didn't (since a lot of folks have replied to my post).

I was just trying to clarify, that I don't think anyone would have an
issue with Huggins talking to recruits about Cincinnati while under
contract with the University, but IF he were trying to talk them into
going with him and IF he were actually initiating calls with potential
Cincinnati recuits saying "hey, wait till I end up somewhere" that
would be sketchy ethics wise.

There have been a number of stories in the media of players claiming
Bob has contacted them, while Bob was denying it. I think that is the
source of discomfort by folks. It is however the media... so whatever.

If you want to argue it is not true that Bob has contacted them, cool.
I don't think he would. I can see no reason why he wouldn't wait the
month or two when he knows he can go whole hog on contacting players
at the point with no issues.

If you want to argue that there is no issue IF Bob has contacted
players while under contract with the University about playing for him
at his next stop, then I have an issue with that thinking.

None of which effects Bob in the least... :-)

I think the issue was *initiating* contact with recruits regarding playing
for Bob wherever he goes while still being paid by the University. That
certainly does not seem appopriate.

Huggins hasn't done anything that was Classless while under contract...
please name one.

It would be classless to NOT take the call of a recruit, it would be
classless NOT to acknowledge your supporters, it would be classless
NOT to talk to the current players whom have a great deal of respect for
you.
