Last night was a real eye opener.  I had said earlier in the year that this
team "will" surprise some people.  That has turned out to be true and I was
the one surprised.  I NEVER thought that I would see the day that a UC team
did not show up for a home game against a decent team - naive I know.
 
If that is the way they are going to play they will not scratch double
digits in wins this year.  They may not even sell out for highly ranked
Memphis on Saturday.  There has been a lot said about supporting the team.
I have and will, but do not think your hangers on will if they do not put
forth any effort on the floor.  I still feel that the pieces are there, but
as I watched that "game" last night, I could not help but get frustrated at
the fact that UC is a senior dominated team that looked like they were
playing a bunch of "new" guys.  I know that Chad's absence has really hurt
them in being a steadying force, but I don't know Chuck.
 
If you need cheering up, think about how much worse next year will be no
matter who they bring in to coach.  The only good news is that seats in the
lower section will become available again, but the prices are so high they
may not sell.  Glad I do not have to work on cleaning this mess up, because
it is bad.
