"You just seem really bitter about an assistant coach and thats actually kind of a sad statement. In conclusion, your an idiot."
-Ted, your comment seems to be a little offensive. Why the hard feelings man? I said nothing deragatory, why did you? I thought we were allowed to have opinions on this forum. I'm not following how being concerned about the Bearcat's lack of coaching makes me "bitter" and that "it's a sad statment."
" I have to say something about this Midol induced rant we just heard"-sounds to me like you are the bitter one. That's at least 3 rude, offensive comments in your post. Bring me facts, not a b*tchfest.
Anyways, yeah Mike Frank didn't play (Varsity High School Ball) but he did play. Also, there is always an exception (that's for bringing the obvious)! Obviously AK isn't in position to hire anyone, so naturally promoted Andy was the logical thing to do. Video Coordinator is like an intern, man; it consists of making flow charts, tendecies, stats, etc. Don't over glorify that.
Again, coaching the JV team of a high school with less than 50 kids in each class does not make you ready for the "Big East". I'm sorry if my opinion differs from yours. You also say Huggs was an unknown before coming to UC. Really? I though he coached at Ohio State (assistant), then took Walsh to the NAIA finals, then revived Akron to NCAA tournament again. That seems a little more impressive than winning a league title at Summit Country Day. I coached undefeated teams at White Oak Middle School. My kids went on to win a state Championship at Colerain. Does that make me ready to coach Ohio State?
"But regardless, I am glad you stalk Andy Assaley outside his home and watch people pull in his driveway, I hope that works out well for you. I figure if he was playing with guys like andre tate he would've picked something up along the way." Again, offensive comments. I am not sure how watching (and then joining) someone shoot on my hoop (as a 6 year old kid) is stalking.
I guess right now (during the Dayton game) you see how great of a coach Andy is...there is no coaching going on in this whole game! No rebounding, no offense, no defense. You might as well just tell everyone to play pure street ball! This is purely pathetic. I still love the Bearcats and support them. I am extremely concerned at the coaching and leadership of the team.
