Statistical analysis from the first two games pretty much sums up what I was worried about coming into this season....Kirk and Muhammed show little to no improvment. Downey is the best of the bunch from the newcomers and his quickness and ability to break down the defense could be the key to the season to neutralize our lack of size.
Here's the formula:
Points+Rebounds+Assists+Steals+Blocks - Missed Shots+TO's+Fouls
Player Total Adjusted for 40 Minutes
White 32 32
Hicks 32 34.6
Downey 19 33.8
Kirk 6 7.7
McGowan 12 17.5
Tilford 8 33.7
Allen 10 88.9
Muhammed 0 0
Coleman 5 19
Allens numbers are obviously skewed by his 3 for 3, 3-pt shooting last night in just 10 minutes of action.
