apparently attendance DOES matter, because we've been told that's the big
strength of the new AD......increasing attendance....why hire an AD with
that strength if it doesn't matter? I'll continue to boycott with the hope
that Nancy and the BOT will have their butts kicked sooner rather than
later.....then those of us with 'broken ankles' will jump back on the
bandwagon, just as we have with the Bengals who were finally forced to admit
Mike Brown shouldn't run football operations.

"...everyone has the right to handle this messy situation the way they
choose."
As long as that doesn't include changing teams. The worst thing someone can
due is give up on the Bearcats all together and start following another team
like Loserville or X or UK. Some day DZ will be gone but Bearcat athletics
will still be here and we can't afford to lose any fans.

situation the way they choose.
I have supported the UC basketball team for many years. There were hardly
any games on TV so I listened on the radio. The highlight of the season was
when they, on rare occasions, squeaked in an upset over a top 25 team.
We finally dug out of that hole, thanks to Huggins, and now there is a good
chance we may be heading back in that direction. Thanks to who?
I believe I can still support the team without going to the games, at least
until
I feel that something is being done to rectify the situation. There is no
better way to measure the effect this has had than by money and numbers.
I am sure Nancy is an intelligent woman, it is her common sense that worries
me.

Then I expect not to see you and others like you on the bandwagon if this
team overachieves and wins the conference championship. In my view, a
person either is a fan of the program or is not; it is that simple.
Irrespective of how many games the team wins, irrespective of who the head
coach is and irrespective of whether you agree with the administration of
the overall university, a fan supports the team. There are more effective
ways to communicate displeasure for the administration, in my opinion.
Based on what I have read in the media, it appears to me that this
administration does not care whether anyone attends games or not. If they
did, they would have handled the situation differently. You evidently
believe that not attending games sends a message and you may be right. But
the administration neither listens to that message nor hears it.
