I think those of us who are part of the 'boycott' understand full well the current players had little to do with Huggs' termination....having said that, anyone who has been involved in competitive athletics, from the playground to the 20,000 seat arena, knows you bust your ass regardless of the number of people who are watching you perform...until someone shows me a more effective way to influence the BOT and Z to resign, I'll continue to avoid the university in all forms.

It will be interesting to see where Huggins lands. Wherever he lands will benefit greatly from his presence.
I feel compelled to point out the following from Tuesday's Cincinnati Post. This summarizes my sentiments on the coach vs. team issue. Chadd Moore has a very mature and sensible outlook:
Moore said he understands people are upset with the way the Huggins' situation played out, but he'd like to see some of those who have stayed away come back.
"It's still the same guys that were here three years ago. It's our last season, we didn't have anything to do with (Huggins' dismissal)," Moore said. "I thought we'd have more fans the second game. I was shocked. It's a long season.
"The fans that were here, we're thankful for them. I like the fans that are loyal. I like the ones that were here for the exhibition games. I can win with them on my side."
Consider Moore's comments in your deliberations on whether to support the team this year. These players are the victims of Dr. Z's and the BOT's major PR blunder. Let's not forget them and what they have worked to achieve during their careers at UC. Recognize their efforts and accomplishments by supporting the team and attending games. I don't think it's too much to ask.
