I am a little skeptical of SKip, but less skeptical of him than anyone else we have to chance of getting. In my opinion, since Mr. Huggins is gone, then we should get the coach that had his number, which is Skip Prosser.

Sounds like everyone would be on board with Prosser. I'm a little more
skeptical, but I'm huge on playing style. I love watching a 64-60
"defensive game" vs a 104-98 game.

Also, I know X fans (my father-in-law is one) that criticized Skip for
not developing his bench. Not saying it wouldn't be a great hire, just
want to debate some of the criticism of Prosser. This is the guy that
one of the most talented teams in the nation last year and lost in the
2nd round.

I agree and I really hope that we are able to get Mr. Prosser. He is
at an elite school and coming here may not be a promotion in monetary
fashion. It may however be a promotion in other ways. He wouldn't have
to recruit against NC and Dook. He may also be tired of finishing third
to NC and Dook also. He could also make his wife happy who still lives
here and prolly misses him during the season. He could recruit well
here and be part of a basketball conference maybe better than the ACC.
Combine all of those and with a great city to live in, that might be
enough to get him. I hope so.

right but I will say this once again. Coaches look for "promotions when
switching jobs". Prosser is already in the elite basketball conference
and Wake is one of the top 3 to 5 teams every year. The Big East is a
step down and UC is going to be a bottom feeder in the Big East for at
least four years because of the way the Huggins situation was handled
and its impact on recruiting. This is UC's last chance for a winning
season until the 2010-2011 season. I hate to say it but I am being
realistic. Look at our roster besides the seniors, nothing.
