I spoke to many people in jersey about martin who only know him from his years with the Nets, not his college acheivements. They all agreed that he was a bust as a first overall. I mean you would expect the first overall to have made more than one all-star team, been the MVP of his own team once and to win a championship. KMart will never make the HOF. Fortson puts up better rpg stats.

 

Kmart is a decent player, but you would expect more out of an overall 1 besides his numerous tantrums ( Van Horn, R. jefferson and then Huggins). No wonder JKidd didn't save him in Jersey.

 

Martin take your jersey and go home if UC means so little to you. I think maybe the jersey on the wall should be for Hall of famers anyways.
