Re: Nuggets pre-season game in Cincinnati may not happen

The fans that know Huggins now will not forget him and his accomplishments I believe will always be noted for future fans. This is whole mess is due to a
handful of people (Zimper, Cox & Wyler). They have made their bed and will have
to sleep in it!

You absolutely did not violate any policy, and your post is most - welcome!

Richard K.

PS: If DerMarr is also ticked off, what about those who played a larger role in the Huggins's era, e.g., Van Excel, Blount, etc., who either have already assisted the university (i.e., didn't Nicky set up a scholarship program some time ago?) in some way, or are in a position to do so in the future. Have we cut off any future benefits that all these pro players could have brought?

This is my first post; I hope I don't violate any rules. In my opinion, Martin is the most notable player from the Coach Huggins era at UC. I further believe that in the short term Martin's request, if honored, will be viewed as support for Coach Huggins. However, in the long term, it will only more quickly deplete fans' memories of Coach Huggins and his impact upon our basketball program. I hope Martin carefully weighs his request prior to formally submitting it to the University.
