Based on his record and employment history I'm not at all impressed with
Gillespie at FAMU. Not a proven winner.

 

Maybe someone will realize that good academics and successful athletics can
coexist. They do pretty well at UCLA, Michigan, Indiana and Duke, at least
in one of the two revenue sports. With the possible exception of UCLA, All
of them had/have coaches with dominant personalities. (K just hides it well)

I woke up this morning to what I thought was the singing of a bird out side
of my window. Now I realize that it was the fat lady and she is singing. I
fully believe the only hope that Bob has after watching the news last night,
is to have the board of directors on his side. I think we all know that it
is not going to happen. I did have one thought, however, and that is that if
Bob does leave maybe the coach from Florida A&M could be recruited. The boys
from North College Hill are high on him and from what I have read he must be
a decent coach. Just an idea !!!!!!! Is anyone going to Indiana Monday to
watch OJ play?
