Wow! What a difference a game makes! 10-14 from the floor, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 4 steals in a 117-61 win...

Subject: [UC Basketball] Eric Hicks update
This URL shows cumulative statistics for the US World University Games
team: http://www.usabasketball.com/men/2005/05_mwug_stats.html
Although the USA team is doing well (wins over Iran 94-47, Slovakia 85-70,
and Germany 72-62 through Sunday), it unfortunately doesn't appear that
Eric is getting much playing time -- he was the only player who didn't
play in the third game.
The leading scorers [starters are asterisked] are Craig Smith* (BC),
Sheldon Williams* (Duke), Vincent Grier* (Minnesota), Randy Foye*
(Villanova), Mike Gansey (WVU), and Matt Harayasz (Stanford). Gerry
McNamara (Syracuse) is starting but not scoring much. Patrick Sparks
seems to be getting little playing time.
Let's hope Eric gets more of a chance to shine in the next round
(involving China, Czech Republic and Germany)!
