My uninformed impression of the district attorney stating he believes the case will be worked out at this date gives me the impression that he expects a plea bargain, maybe to a lesser charge or maybe to testify against the others involved.  I wonder how his cooperation with the investigation or a plea to a lesser charge would affect his status with the university.  If he simply pleads guilty to a lesser charge, I dont believe the university would take him back.

He isnt cleared yet, but took a positive step today.
