Well, I attended the breakfast, my dad (works for the university and) wouldn't let me wear my shirt.  He said, "That isn't the reason or the main focus of the day.  And I don't want any reporters interviewing you."  Goin spoke first and said some nice things, but he said the main reason we got into the BE was due to his and Nancy's efforts (before she was on the payroll) to show the big east how strong they were academically as well as athletically.  I really got a sour taste when he said that.  Then he intoduced Nancy, (I did not clap, I think Goin and Trangeese recived louder appaluse, but that might be me wishing.)  She gave her same speech about moving together in the same direction.  The Goin spoke again about where we are headed and all the new buildings in the area.  Goin also mentioned that we aren't the only University joining the BE today, but note that the commisioner is here with us.  Trangeese spoke highly of G&Z and thanked them for becoming members of the BE.  He
 closed his speech with "Go Cats!"  Goin thanked everyone who helped put this together, and stressed he had nothing to do with it.  As for the food, there were doughnuts, dainishes, bagels and cream cheese.  And Water, Coffe, OJ and Cranberry juice for drinks.  All who attended received a new C-Paw adjustable hat, Black with Red bill, white c-paw, and beig east on the back of the hat and a matching new c-paw pin (Must have been Nancy's input).
