RE: I like the new C-Paw logo

I agree...I went to DAAP for 6 years and interacted with some very talented 
graphic designers while in school, however I really can't understand why 
they decided to go with a more formal design approach to the logo.

Take for instance the logo for the Clemson Tigers, a very successful logo 
which somewhat resembles the C-Paw.  The beauty of the logo is it's 
understated look.  UC's new high tech design in my opinion doesn't achieve 
the same understated feel that a logo should feel.
