Actually the Roundball
Classic<http://www.originalroundballclassic.com/original.htm>has been
around the longest - since 1965. . . .
Roy Bright played in the game last year.

Not sure if this is really the premier high school all star game that they
are hyping it to be on TV, but the Roundball Classic from Chicago is on
right now. A couple of the kids are still undecided, including DeAndre
Thomas, who I believe was mentioned on this forum in the past as a potential
UC interest. However, of the kids that are decided, it looked like about 60%
were headed to the Big East next year. At least two to Louisville, one or
two to Syracuse, one to UCONN, one to Marquette, one to Depaul, and then of
course a couple to NC State, Duke, UNC, and the obligatory Memphis recruit.
Does anybody know how preeminent this game is in featuring recruits? If it's
as good as they make it out to be, looks like some tough competition for
Cincy in the future.
