I don't want to get personal but wow - why even bother
following college sports? This kind of attitude kills
(killed?) the game. That's all I'll say, but... Wow...

Sure it's going to be a pain in the A. Goin stated if it was
year UC would have lost a basketball scholarship. RickPitino of UL said he
wouldn't recruit junior college players anymore because ofthe APR. Will this
effect UC's recruiting? Well UC recruits more academicproblem players and JC
players than almost any other major basketball program. Soif UC continues to
do this' on the one hand they will have a better selectionbecause other
major schools will pass on more of these type players. Onthe other hand UC will
be more likely to lose a scholarship. I say go for the bigtime player. I
would lose a scholarship over playing a second rated playerwho would
graduate. Don
