I would add that UC had no answer for Wake's big man when Max got into foul
trouble.  One day this will happen for the Cats.  Imagine if Williams got
two quick fouls and sat the rest of a half.  How would Wake fair against Max
and Hicks.  With no depth, they can not afford to get into foul trouble.

Let hope that UC can continue to stay out of foul trouble and catch a few
breaks.

I'm excited about how this team is putting it together too.  Earlier Don
asked the question who we would want to match up in the 2nd round.

We've faced 2 number 1 seeds - we played with Wake though we had no answer
for their big man.  I'm not sure what to do with IL.

Right now ESPN has us as a 6 seed and UL as a 3 seed.  We know we can play
with that 3 seed - maybe we can beat the others.

Two factors help us - this team is a pretty veteran team now - you have to
figure the primary rotation for the rest of the season will be - Max, Hicks,
White, Kirkland, Williams, Jihad, Lucas, Bright.  I like their experience.
The second is what others have mentioned - the senior factor.  For Max,
Williams, and Lucas - this is it.  If they want to do something special - it
is now or never.

What is a realistic expectation?  Sweet 16, elite eight - or second round
and anything else is icing on the cake?  (I think this is Don's position?)

I think Bright overall gets a 6 from me.  The first few minutes I give him a
2 and that is generous.  I think both of his TO's were early and his defense
was horrible to start, but then with more playing time he looked more
comfortable and he can hit those mid-range jumpers.  I must admit, even
though I usually support Huggins' take them out after a mistake strategy,
leaving Bright in was a huge bonus.  He is going to have to play for this
team with only 9 scholly players.

I agree about Nick.  After bragging in the pre-season how he was going to
have a DeJuan Baker type senior season,  was disappointed early, but WOW!
lately.  He has really been going strong to the basket and looks real
comfortable taking the deep shots.

I am liking how this team is coming together, I just worry about if there
are enough parts.
