Not looking ahead to Charlotte but...

I am going with the alumni to Charlotte for that game, and I had a couple of questions.
 
First, who here is going?
 
Second, should I bring anything, like foam waving sticks or 3 cards (that I picked up recently in the student sections).
 
Second, part two, If I do bring those items, should I bring a hard hat to protect me from batteries?
