By the way, Louisville has the better record at 18-3

An interesting note going into the UofL game from the new RPI....
UC has a better record (17-3 vs 16-3) and SOS (81 vs 89) than "The 'Ville"
but the Cards have a better RPI (24 vs 27). Go figure!?
The reason might be is the "new RPI" formula were you are rewarded for road
wins over home wins. UC is 4-0 on the road vs. 4-1 for UofL. It could be
that UC is 11-2 at home vs Louisville's 11-1 home record. Whatever it is, it
is odd.
For those that have bashed our schedule this year. Please take note that our
SOS is better than.... UofL, Mich St, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Marquette,
Florida, Pittsburgh, NC State, Charlotte, DePaul. Not great but not bad.
Notes:
The A10 is now the 16th rated conference in America, behind such powerhouses
as the America East Conference, the Sun Belt Conference and the Western
Athletic Conference. They have three teams in the top 100 and zero in the
top 60. OUCH, what a difference a year makes.
Miami, OH is now 29th in the RPI. Charlie Coles CAN really coach.
