Today's Enquirer Article on Kirkland:

BANKS CASE: Athletic director Bob Goin said Wednesday he believes freshman guard Vincent Banks' playing status will be resolved by the first of the year.

"That's a belief," Goin said. "I have no documentation of that."

Banks, who declined to comment Wednesday, has been practicing with the Bearcats but has not played in a game as he tends to an academic situation that UC officials say they cannot specify because of privacy considerations.
