RE: UC 5th in conf. usa

I would have to agree that UC will not finish
fifth this year in CUSA. DePaul and UAB will
have a rebuilding years, while I think Marquette
will be much better. I could see 6-7 teams from
this conference making the NCAA tournament.
UC, Louisville, Charlotte, Memphis, & Marquette
should be locks. DePaul and UAB should be bubble
teams. As for UC, this team has potential to be
better then last year if the point guard situation
is fixed. White and Armein should benefit from having
a point guard who can penetrate the defense and open
up some outside shots for them. Nick Williams will be
more comfortable at shooting guard then point, but I
expect Vincent Banks to be starting by the time conference
play begins. If the reviews on Jihad are accurate he is
going to be able to make everyone one around him better.
Maxiell should get more open locks, Hicks will get some
easy dunks, and most importantly we finally have a point guard
who can make open shots as well. Looking forward to Midnight
Madness.

I agree. Hell will grow iceicles before UC finishes fifth in Cincy-USA,
that
is what the experts would want to happen. ;-)
