The original post was about 2 weeks ago on the Bearcat Board. Within the
last week I received an email from the old firerickminter.com site with
basically the same story. I then went to see if anybody at OSU had heard
any kind of similar story on their end, while checking in on their
opinions on the commitments OSU has received with the help of Dan
Peters. UC fans did not take too kindly to me bringing this up and claim
that I have now made UC basketball less enticing to potential recruits.
Whether or not that is the truth, I don't know, but had I known it would
cause this big of an uproar I would never have mentioned it at all.
Since it had already been posted on UC's board I figured it was wide out
in the open, but apparently most "internet" UC fans don't read the sub
message boards on that site. Either way, I do not have rock solid
sources on what I posted (one was from a message board, the other was
from an email that I received from a person I have never met). Mike Ryan
set the facts straight on the NCAABBS.com site, and as we all know, has
verifiable "inside sources". 

So, as Keith said, take it with a HUGE grain of salt. I cannot claim any
1st hand knowledge of any of this, it is all hearsay. In fact, the only
person willing to go on the record about the validity of this was Dan
Rather, and we all know how much credibility he has at the moment... :)
