I cant believe that Peters would have much pull in trying to get huggins fired.
 
I can believe that Nancy wanted him fired and might have wanted to give the job to peters.
 
But I cant see where that would cause a ruff.
 
That site also mentions the supposed girl huggins had with him. Its been awfully quiet on that front which suggests there wasnt anything there or the cops are going to great lengths to keep it from getting out.
