That is certainly wrong. If it is copyrighted, they can come after
you. Years ago (Global Bearcat days) I posted a C-Paw on an AOL
sharing area. I eventually got tracked down by lawyers from the
University (or a Marketing company hired by the University). They
didn't sue me or anything, but they required me to get it taken down,
which wasn't easy.

I could have heard wrong, but I have been told you only run into
copyright issues on something like this if you are charging money for
them. Obviously, I'm no lawyer (I'm a computer geek), but is this the
truth? If it isn't, how do message boards who use the school logos get
away with it?

I planned on adding a new section to our "Photos" area called
"Wallpapers", so you can send them to me as well.

I'll add them as soon as possible.

Not sure if we will have copyright issues, but we will handle those as
they come up.

I you want a copy of them email me and I will give you a the files.
They
have been saved as .jpg's. One is the C-Paw with "Bearcats" under the
paw.
And the other is the Bearcat with "Cincinnati Bearcats" above him. It
was
the center logo for a season.

Anybody have a good C-Paw logo wallpaper for their computer? I can
never
find any good ones with the C-Paw logo, and I'm tired of seeing the
OSU
and UD ones at work...

Thanks,
Mick
