You would think he would have signed on with one of the other minor leagues in the US.
Something to stay in shape and earn a little money.
With the way he was cut so quick, it makes me think they were told how good he was but when he got there and played with them, they said "no thanks" or something.
What else could it be ?
Maybe the reporter could do a followup ?

A bigger question is what was up with his bouncing around the minors and
almost playing in Israel was it? If I remember, he never really played any
ball. I'm wondering if this is a mental/motivational thing with Logan. I
know problems with his agent vs. Gary St. Jean at GState had a lot to do
with him not signing originally.
Just seems like he threw a reasonably lucrative and good career right out
the door.

When do his rights lapse ?
Im just curious of both sides motivation for including him.
Maybe Dallas figures they can get $50k for his rights if someone wants to
pick him up.
But if he hasnt been playing regularly and is overweight, I cant see any NBA
team wanting him.
Its a shame because I really thought he could make it. He was one pick away
from guaranteed 3 year money.

Logan's name does not appear on any roster from the Long Beach Summer

Remember, his >draft rights< were traded, not the player himself. So
now his rights belong to Dallas instead of GState. All that means is
that Dallas gets first dibs, it does not mean they >will< sign him, it
means they >can< sign him.
With Jason Terry, Travis Best and Harris on the Maverick roster, I do
not expect Dallas to sign him. Dallas' rights to Lo will likely lapse
and he would be officially a 'free agent'. I wouldn't consider Logan
trade bait.

Logan did play Long Beach Summer ball.but
I haven't seen a thing on him in the Dallas Morning News since the trade
I'll keep an eye out. Personally I think he's trade bait for someone who'syear
trying to dump salary. But I could be wrong because the Mavs have a 2nd yr
player, Marquis Daniels, and a rookie, Devin Harris, at the point this
so far.played!

I can't find any other mention of him. He may have been on the roster of a
team, but until I see a boxscore with his name, I do not believe he
