Or to take it a step farther, the kid says that he will be looking at UC

I see this as a very constructive post which points out the realities
of NCAA rules. Clearly, all fans should be cautious. Nevertheless,
envision the following scenario. I happen to be sitting next to a
young man on a plane, and he is about 6'11" tall, and built like Shaq.

He strikes up a conversation, mentions that he has just won MickeyD
honors, has decided to spend 4 years in college before going to the
NBA, and is looking for a school with a good basketball program. He
looks at me, waiting for my response. Being cognizant of NCAA rules, I

comment on the weather. :) Yeah, right.
